Bogdan Ota is a leading name in contemporary music industry and one of the Romanian artists who had a spectacular evolution in the last years.

He graduated from the ”G. Enescu” Art University in Iași and achieved success and had his geniality confirmed while taking part in the ”Norway Got Talent” competition.

Extraordinary Concert “United” on the stage of the Students’ House of Culture in Iasi, a co-production of Bogdan Ota, Nordic Sonata Orchestra and the regional public television (TVR Iasi). Given the overwhelming ticket demand from the public, the artist performed on two consecutive days, the 26th and the 27th of February, in a fabulous atmosphere, highly emotionally loaded. After more than 10 years Bogdan Ota has returned to the city of his university studies. The themes presented in the show deal with spirituality, emotion, religion vs faith, strong love that lasts even beyond death. The artist’s message to the audience was spiritual and optimistic: “Be happy! It’s your only duty! By being happy you will change your lives. By changing your lives you will change the world. It is that simple!!!”
The series of charitable events initiated in 2013 continued with concerts supporting the Heart Institute of Cluj-Napoca, the Impulse Foundation in Ludus (protects children suffering from autism), the organisation Save the Children in Iasi and the Mures County Clinical Hospital
Extraordinary Concert “United” on the stage of the Brasov Philharmonic, a brilliant performance that brought together more than 100 musicians on stage and offered the public a 100% acoustic version of Bogdan’s compositions
The series of “Piano by Candlelight” concerts covered special venues like the State Philharmonic in Oradea and Satu-Mare, the Synagogue in Bistrita and St. Michael’s Church in Cluj-Napoca
Bogdan Ota and Nordic Sonata Orchestra Extraordinary Concert ”Day of Wrath – The Revelation”, on the stage of the National Romanian Opera in Cluj-Napoca, a project supported on an exclusive basis by the notorious company EnergoBit. The show was a huge success, the venue ran fast out of seats as the audience was overwhelming. Extraordinary Concert “United”, a huge co-production of Bogdan Ota, Nordic Sonata Orchestra, the Hungarian Opera from Cluj and TVR Cluj. Over 70 artists on the stage of the Hungarian Opera, music, ballet and video projections met in a fabulous show about the spiritual connection of people and the necessity to return to our essence (Love), surpassing the painful illusion of separation. Characterized as a magic story about beauty, spirit and emotion, the show has been appreciated by the audience and the sponsors as the best show ever signed by Bogdan Ota up to present. As an absolute premiere, the artist presented some of his most recent compositions that will be included on his next album.
Following the invitation launched by Sabin Gherman, presenter, host and producer of the TV programme called “Romania from A to Z”, Bogdan Ota started collaborating with Look TV. He is currently involved, together with journalist Sabin Gherman, in promoting genuine Romanian values and role models, as an highly respected and praised opinion trend setter.
Social activity: Bogdan Ota initiated a series of charitable concerts called “Art for the Soul”, supporting humanitarian causes related to children and medical institutions
Bogdan Ota Extraordinary Concert takes place in Oslo, Norway
Bogdan Ota launches a project of New Age Symphonic called Nordic Sonata Orchestra in the ”Joseph Schmidt” Auditorium of the ”Ștefan cel Mare” University in Suceava and on the TV Channel Antena 3 (as a guest artist for the second time in the notorius show ”Daily Summary” with Mihai Gâdea). Nordic Sonata Orchestra presently accompanies the artist in all his concerts and performances across Romania.
The official release of the book ”Bogdan Ota and the Piano that Brings Heaven Closer” (the original title in Romanian is “Bogdan Ota și pianul care apropie Cerul”), written by Sergiu Alex and published by Eikon publishing house, in a recital at the Cluj Radio Auditorium. The book approaches Bogdan`s life in an interview format and is available in all major bookshops in Romania and on the publisher`s website (www.edituraeikon.ro)
Bogdan Ota Extraordinary Concert with the State Philharmonic Orchestra in Botoșani and the Choir ”Anima Musicae”, conducted by Cristian Orășanu
Official release, as a world premiere, in Botoșani of his first album called ”Day of Wrath” (produced by Electrecord) on the stage of the ”Mihai Eminescu” theatre, in a total show of sound, light and special effects, together with Nordic Sonata Orchestra and the Choir ”Lira”. This red carpet event was appreciated by local mass-media as the mondenity of the year. On this occasion Bogdan Ota is granted the distinction of Honorary Citizen by the municipality of Botoșani.
Takes part in the competition ”Norske Talenter” and conquers with his talent the Norwegian public and the members of the jury, who exclaimed fascinated by his art: ”Absolutely fabulous!” (Mia Gundersen, the most beloved actress, music-hall, cabaret and pop music artist in Norway), respectively ”Norway is blessed with you!” (the actor and dancer Adhil Khan)
Signs in Norway a management contract with the record label Sony Music, the division of artistic representation Day 1 Entertainment
Writes the soundtrack of the film ”Sirenen”, a Norwegian production directed by Rino Hemstad Helliassen
Is invited to perform in one of the most popular TV talk shows in Romania, entitled “Daily Summary” and presented by Mihai Gâdea. On that occasion Bogdan Ota performs live for the first time in a Romanian TV station after the huge success he achieved in the competition “Norway Got Talent” and the rating of that TV programme reaches overwhelming levels.
Is invited to play at the Mangalia Festival (with an audience of 22.000 people) and on this particular occasion he is granted a star on the Mangalia Walk of Fame;
On the 17th of September the Bogdan Ota Extraordinary Concert takes place in the Constitution Square in Bucharest. It is his first performance with the National Radio Orchestra and Choir (103 artists altogether on stange), conducted by the famous conductor Tiberiu Soare. On that night over 30,000 people gathered in front of the House of Parliament to enjoy Bogdan`s music.
